Kokrak misses cut in PGA Championship
PITTSFORD, N.Y. Jason Kokrak's second round in the PGA Championship on Friday was better than his opening round, but not quite enough to buy the former Warren JFK golfer weekend rounds at Oak Hill Country Club.
Kokrak, who opened with a 4-over par 74 on Thursday, had twice as many birdies (four) in a second-round 72. But along with the increase in birdies came six bogeys Friday and Kokrak finished at 6-over 146 to miss the cut by three strokes.
Cleveland native Jason Dufner, who shot a course-record 63 Friday, has a two-shot lead over Adam Scott, Matt Kuchar and Jim Furyk entering Saturday's third round. Dufner is at 9-under 131. Scott, Kuchar and Furyk are all at 7-under 133.
