1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 20 in the Great Hall at St. Nicholas Church on 5th Street in Struthers. John Texter will preside. Cancellations must be made today to Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192. Any calls after today will not be accepted. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Report illnesses or deaths to Pat Bozichovich at 330-755-7552. The annual picnic will take place, and refreshments will be served.

Ajax Magnethermic Retirees will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave., Youngstown. Guests are welcome.

Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church, 140 W. Main St. There will be blood pressure screenings available from noon to 12:45. Debra Liptak, director of public relations at the Youngstown Public Library, will be the speaker. There will be a board meeting at 10 a.m. Aug. 18 at the church. Reservations are being taken for bus trips. There will be a day trip Sept. 17 to Warren, Pa., to the historic Kinzua Dam and to Benezett Hotel to view a film, “The Pennsylvania Elk Herd,” a wagon ride and dinner at the Benezett. There will be a fall foliage trip Oct. 9-12 to Kentucky, which includes the Kentucky Derby Museum, a dinner cruise on the Spirit of Jefferson in Louisville, Kentucky Horse Park and shows at Renfro Valley Music Center. There will be dinner on the way home at the Golden Lamb at Lebanon. For reservations call 330-337- 7133. The Sept. 9 meeting will be a picnic. Nonmembers and guests are welcome.

Dollar Bank Retirees will have an annual picnic Aug. 14. Meet at noon at the Elton Beard Family Cabin on Route 224 in Boardman Park. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. The cost of lunch will be $9. Contact Sandy Ross at 330-506-1290 for information.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Patricia Perio will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Saxon Retirees will meet at noon Thursday at the club ballroom on Meridian Road, Austintown. The cost of the chicken croissant dinner is $10; reservations and cancellations are due today. Call Pat Bokesch at 330-799-3121 or Joan Giba at 330-782-5806.

S.O.A.R. 27-2 and 27-6 Steelworkers Retirees Local 1330 and 1331 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Niles-Canfield Road. Refreshments will be served. New members are welcome. There will be no meeting in September.

St. Joseph Goldenagers are meeting at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Lyons Hall. Evelyn Menaldi will preside, reports will be made, and the thought for the day will be given by Carol McClain. Birthdays and anniversaries will be honored. Get-well wishes will be sent to members; call Menaldi at 330-792-0663 to report illnesses. Cards will be played, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; refreshments will be served.

YSU Freetimers will meet for the monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s Restaurant in Cornersburg. All retirees are welcome.
