Employment: She worked for Ward Baking Co. in Youngstown.
Memberships: She is a member of Holy Trinity Church in Struthers, St. Matthias in Youngstown and Our Lady of the Lake in Columbia, S.C. She also is a member of First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association.
Other information: She was a member of the drill team at Struthers High School and loves to bake and cook, especially Slovak food. She and her husband volunteered at Assumption Nursing Home for many years, delivering ice cream to the residents. The couple lived in Columbia, S.C., for 10 years. She loves to sing and has a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. Her nickname is Happy Helen.
