Debra Ingram, director of the Bride of Christ Worship Team, founded the Kingdomites Biblical Dance Academy of which she is the dean. The focus is on dance from a biblical perspective.

Biblical Study of Dance, Old Testament: Noon to 1 p.m. Saturdays, Aug. 10, 17 and 24 and Sept. 7, 14 and 21.

How to Sound the Shofar: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Aug. 13, 20 and 27 and Sept. 10, 17 and 24.

Flags, Colors, Intercession: 7 to 8 p.m. Fridays, Aug. 9 and 23 and Sept. 6 and 20 and Oct. 4 and 18.

Biblical Study of Dance, New Testament: Noon to 1 p.m. starting Oct. 19.

Other courses: Among other classes are Hebrew and Greek terminology of dance; instruments of praise, worship, warfare and intercession; study of the tabernacle of Moses and David; liturgical dance as an altar ministry; and Messianic dance. Students receive a certificate of completion at the end of each course. There are fees.

Presentations: The Bride of Christ Worship Team danced at National Day of Prayer in May in downtown Youngstown. Among upcoming events are Aug. 19 meeting of Youngstown Chapter of Igniting New Life Ministries, an interdenominational ministry, at Georgeanna Parker Activity Center in Boardman Park, 325 Boardman-Poland Road, with fellowship at 6:30 p.m. and ministry at 7 and Sept. 28 rally from noon to 4 p.m. in Warren.
