Camp meeting


Shiloh Full Gospel Church, 1310 Shannon Road, will host a camp meeting Aug. 12-18. Pograms are at 6 p.m. Presenters will be:

Aug. 12, the Rev. Wade Hartzell, youth director at Shiloh Ministries who has an exhorters license with Shiloh Ministries.

Aug. 13, Dan Garret of Newton Falls, guitarist and organist who played for his parents’ Tent and Church Evangelistic Ministry and founded Limited Edition, a bluegrass group.

Aug. 14, Bishop Martha Sanders, founder of Hour of Power Full Gospel Tabernacle in Farrell, Pa., and Shenango Valley Believers Against Drugs.

Aug. 15, the Rev. William Bullen, pastor of Shiloh Full Gospel Church in North Carolina and first minister to be ordained under the Shiloh Ministry.

Aug. 16, the Rev. John Robles of Fort Wayne, Ind., founder of Operation Latin America, a nonprofit organization, which distributes Bibles and builds churches in Mexico, Spain and Argentina.

Aug. 17 and 18, Gordon Jensen of Nashville, Tenn., a Christian music recording artist who has been nominated for songwriter of the year by the Gospel Music Association. He will be at the church at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 18.

Concert at church


The Stevens Family of Warren will present a concert at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Liberty Assembly, 6779 Belmont Ave., where David Verzilli is host interim pastor.

Rich and Tami Stevens and their daughter, Erin, have shared their musical ministry in some 2,500 concerts in 34 states, Canada, West Indies and England.

Rejoicing luncheon


Women of Worship Ministry of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church plans the Women of God Rejoicing Luncheon on Aug. 17 at St. Mark’s Church Social Center, 3560 Logan Way.

Guest speaker will be evangelist Sherri Dawson.

Music revival


The fifth annual North Eastern Ohio Gospel Music Revival will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 10 at Rogers Assembly of God, 8251 Sprucevale Road.

Featured will be the Sons of Liberty of Stanton, Ky.; Nicholas Naylor of Pinch, W.Va.; Stevens Family of Warren; Calvary’s Live of Doylestown, Ohio; and Glorybound of Negley, Ohio.

Doors open at 4 p.m. Rogers Youth Group will sell refreshments. A free-will offering will be taken.

Hospital ministry


Vision City Learning Center, 2681 Youngstown Road, will offer a free session on hospital ministry from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 10, 17 and 24. There is a fee for manuals. Instructor will be Dr. Jerome A. Jones.

Free workshop


Restoration Christian Fellowship, 151 Folsom St., will sponsor a Women of Word Weekend at 10 a.m. Aug. 10.

The event is free but registration is requested. Call the church at 330-369-5428.

Guest speaker is Minister Carla Robinson.

After the service, women will have dinner at the Chop House.

Host pastor is the Rev. Joseph E. Walker Jr. and Elder Kimberly D. Walker, co-pastor and head of Women’s Ministry.
