Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer guardianship program of Trumbull County Probate Court, will meet at 5:30 p.m. May 8 at Perkins Family Restaurant, 1953 Niles-Cortland Road SE. Liberty Township Senior Watch Program reaches out to senior citizens in need by offering open houses to introduce them to agencies that cater to seniors. The program also provides seniors with lock boxes, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. For those who wish, it will provide daily welfare-check phone calls. There’s also an annual breakfast with police and fire personnel as well as trustees.
