Skid Row will play at Super Nationals


Multi-Platinum rockers Skid Row will perform June 22 at the Steel Valley Super Nationals hot rod weekend at Quaker City Motorsports Park. Skid Row, whose hit songs include “18 and Life,” “I Remember You” and “Youth Gone Wild,” are currently touring in support of their latest album “United World Rebellion.”

Earlier this month, the Super Nats announced that national recording artist Jackyl, with special guests The Huckin Fillbillys, will perform June 21. Advance single-day admission tickets, which include concerts, are $12 and are available at

Summer arts camp at Butler branch


The Butler Institute of American Art’s Trumbull Branch on East Market Street will host summer arts day camp for children 8 to 12. Dates are July 16-19 and July 23-26. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There also will be a family night July 24 at 6 p.m. Call 330-743-1107, ext. 114, for information. Scholarships are available. The camps include performances by local music, dance and theater artists.
