Today’s entertainment picks:

v Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, 8 p.m.: The Dana School of Music has put together an orchestra to perform this grand piece of music, accompanied by the Stambaugh Chorus. It’s at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown; 330-259-0555.

v “9 to 5, the Musical,” 7:30 p.m.: You can probably relate to this show, based on the 1980 movie. It’s at New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa.; 724-654-3437.

v Steve Hytner, 9 p.m.: Best known for playing the role of Kenny Bania on “Seinfeld,” Hytner will bring his stand-up act to the Funny Farm Comedy Club, inside Mojo’s Pub and Grill, 6292 Mahoning Ave., Austintown; 330-759-4242.

v “High School Musical,” 7 p.m.: Student production at Niles McKinley High School, 616 Dragon Drive, Niles; 330-654-3437.

“happy endings” (8 p.m., ABC): Is this the end for “Happy Endings”? The sitcom closes out its season with back-to-back episodes, the first of which features quest appearances by Megan Mullally and Michael McKean. After that, the “bubble” show faces an uncertain future.

Skid Row will play at Super Nationals

SALEM

Multi-Platinum rockers Skid Row will perform June 22 at the Steel Valley Super Nationals hot rod weekend at Quaker City Motorsports Park. Skid Row, whose hit songs include “18 and Life,” “I Remember You” and “Youth Gone Wild,” are currently touring in support of their latest album “United World Rebellion.”

Earlier this month, the Super Nats announced that national recording artist Jackyl, with special guests The Huckin Fillbillys, will perform June 21. Advance single-day admission tickets, which include concerts, are $12 and are available at steelvalleysupernationals.com.

Summer arts camp at Butler branch

HOWLAND

The Butler Institute of American Art’s Trumbull Branch on East Market Street will host summer arts day camp for children 8 to 12. Dates are July 16-19 and July 23-26. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There also will be a family night July 24 at 6 p.m. Call 330-743-1107, ext. 114, for information. Scholarships are available. The camps include performances by local music, dance and theater artists.
