New Wilmington Kiwanis’ used book sale will be Wednesday through Saturday at Jameson New Wilmington Health Center, South Market Street. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Paperbacks will be 50 cents, hardbacks will be $1, and there will be a specially priced section. Proceeds will support various community programs. A drop-off truck for book donations is parked in the Jameson parking lot until the sale.

Westminster Presbyterian Church, 119 Stadium Drive, Boardman, is preparing for its 57th annual used book sale from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.


Trinity Lutheran Church, 78 E. Liberty St., Girard, will sponsor a craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 3. Crafters are wanted, spaces outside and inside are available for $20. Lake Milton Association will present a “Spring Fling” dance from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at American Legion Hall, Milton Avenue. Proceeds will be used for a concrete patio for the gazebo in Harry Meshel Park at Lake Milton State Park. The event is co-sponsored by Lake Milton Women’s League and will include appetizers, dancing, cash bar, 50-50 raffle and prizes. The cost is $25 per couple if purchased before the event. McDonald Fire Department Social Organization is sponsoring “A Night Under The Stars” formal dinner-dance Saturday at the Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St., Girard.
