Downtown cleanup in Warren Saturday

Published: Wed, April 17, 2013 @ 3:56 a.m.

WARREN

The non-profit organization Main Street Warren will have a downtown cleanup 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Volunteers can bring their brooms and gloves to the Gazebo on Historic Courthouse Square at 8:30 a.m. and then walk over to the First United Methodist Church for a free breakfast sponsored by the church.

The area will be divided into zones, and each zone will have a zone captain who will be in charge of that zone.

Another good work outing for the welfare and food stamp people. In order to get their government handout they have to perform some type of work. They even have teams with captains. Welfare vs food stamp, who picks up the most litter.
