BYU-Idaho symphony in concert

CHAMPION

The Brigham Young University-Idaho Symphony Band from Rexburg, Idaho, will give a free concert at 7 p.m. next Wednesday at Champion High School, 5976 Mahoning Ave. NW. Opening the program is the Champion High School Band, under the direction of Tom Brucoli.

The concert is sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Youngstown Stake. The BYU-Idaho Symphony Band includes 44 woodwind, brass and percussion musicians from across the globe and draws its repertoire from the master composers of the 18th and 19th centuries, and prominent 20th-century composers.
