The Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road, is beginning its 2013 Guided Labyrinth Walks with an event April 21 at 2 and 3 p.m.
The walks will include presentations on the Spirituality/Story of labyrinths inside the Center’s auditorium, along with guided outdoor labyrinth walks “In Praise of Spring.”
Light refreshments will be served.
From May through September, the walks will generally alternate between Tuesday and Thursday nights:
• May 23, 6:30 p.m.
• June 20, 6:30 p.m.
• July 16, 6:30 p.m.
• Aug. 15, 6:30 p.m.
• Sept. 17, 6:30 p.m.
The final guided walk event of the season will be Oct. 20 at 2 and 3 p.m.
Anyone wishing to walk the Labyrinth but unable to make one of the official walks can come anytime. There are guides provided at the Labyrinth’s entrance, but there is no right or wrong way to walk a labyrinth. People can use the labyrinth in any way they need.
The Ursuline Center Labyrinth is a ministry of the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown and open year-round from dawn to dusk for all persons of faith. There is no cost to use the Labyrinth, which is handicapped-accessible and offers ample parking.
