Syrian militants pledge allegiance to al-Qaida

BEIRUT (AP) - The leader of an Islamic extremist rebel group in Syria pledged allegiance today to al-Qaida and its leader for the first time. Abu Mohammad al-Golani, head of Jabhat al-Nusra or the Nusra Front, confirmed his rebel group was tied to al-Qaida in Iraq in an audio message posted on militant websites.

I sure hope they can use all the Billions thats billions with a B that their brother sent them. Gee If N.Korea keeps it up we'll be sending them more money than we ALREADY do. Just think thats our money were sending these idiots not the guy in the big house!!! No wonder why all the countries have no fear of US anymore or respect either.Soon to be United States of Arabica.

let's see if We The People got this right: the US official policy toward Syria is to oust the government of Bashar al-Assad and support the "rebels" financially, militarily and in every other way. These "rebels", it turns out, are part of the al-Qaida network of terrorists, like those who attacked the USA on 9/11 and US troops and citizens all over the world since then. Have policy-makers had a lobotomy? How else to explain this madness?

Hey new one from the house of horrors: US wants to ban searches/detaining Saudi Arabian's. Of course this makes sense how would they pull of another 911 if we keep bugging them. Ya gottal love it. I hope someone w/common sense squashes this one
