Bike to Work

Bike to Work

The second annual Bike to Work Warren Day will be from 6 to 9 a.m. May 17 at the Log Cabin in downtown Warren.

The purpose is to encourage people to be more physically active by bicycling to work. A free breakfast will be provided for everyone who arrives on a bicycle.

T-shirts and sling-bags will be available to the first 100 cyclists. Head- and tail- lights will be available for the first 80 cyclists. Other prizes will be available.

Showers that day will be available at the YMCA. Bring your own towel.

Mel Milliron, educator for the Trumbull County Health Department, said 67 people from various parts of the county biked to jobs in the downtown Warren area last year. One person biked to Warren and then proceeded to his job in Lordstown.
