A body was found in a house destroyed in a fire.

Those investigating the Saturday fire confirmed to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner, that a body was in the rubble.

Authorities wouldn’t identify the name of the deceased person Sunday, but the house at 4894 North Park Ave. NE is owned by Daniel Jibotian, 53. He has been missing since Saturday and threatened to commit suicide in a text message to his wife, who then contacted Trumbull County 911.

Two separate fires at the house and a barn in the township were reported about 3:15 p.m. Saturday with flames coming out of the roofs of both structures.

An officer who first arrived at the scene said he heard gunshots. It was later determined to be ammunition stored in the barn that went off because of the heat from the fire.
