Tree causes power outage this afternoon in Vienna

VIENNA

About 6,200 Ohio Edison customers in Vienna and Brookfield were without power for a short time this afternoon.

Robin Patton, Ohio Edison’s Trumbull County area manager, said the outage, which occurred at about 3 p.m., was caused by a tree on a transmission wire.

Power was restored at about 4:15 p.m., she said.
