ODOT needs seasonal workers for highway cleanup

Published: Wed, April 3, 2013 @ 11:22 p.m.

NEW PHILADELPHIA

The Ohio Department of Transportation District 11 crews will be on the highways on Friday to help curb litter in east central Ohio.

Volunteers with ODOT’s Adopt-a-Highway program, in conjunction with the “Great American Cleanup” commit to picking up litter along a designated half-mile stretch of highway at least four times per year.

ODOT officials are continually seeking seasonal workers who would be called to help pick up litter on an as-needed basis.
