The League of Women Voters has tried working out bi-partisan solutions to fair redistricting for the last 40 years. The party in power is never agreeable. Instead of remaining victims of this bad system, Ohio voters have the opportunity to change the system themselves. Issue 2 has been well thought out with many citizens and non-partisan organizations in agreement. I’ll vote Yes on Issue 2.

What is a “fair” election when gerrymandered congressional districts rig the election in favor of one party? I’ll vote yes on Issue 2 because it’s a step towards restoring fair elections. Issue 2 will make the process of drawing the congressional districts open to the public and accountable through transparency--something that is altogether lacking in the current process. The League of Women Voters has worked on bi-partisan solutions to this problem for 40 years. The dominant party never agrees--sometimes it's the Democrats, sometime the Republicans. Yes on Issue 2 gets past the gridlock.

Absurd time to add to government bureaucracy. A partisan measure to create MORE government waste.
