COLUMBUS (AP) — Ohio’s unemployment rate has held steady for the third month in a row after nearly a year of slight month-to-month decreases in the jobless rate.
The state Department of Job and Family Services said today that seasonally adjusted joblessness in Ohio was again 7.2 percent in August, staying at its lowest level since September 2008. The state’s nonfarm payrolls dropped by 2,000 compared with July’s figures.
Ohio’s rate has remained about 1 point below national unemployment rate, which dropped from 8.3 percent in July to 8.1 percent in August.
The number of unemployed Ohio workers dropped by about 5,000, from 418,000 in July to 413,000 last month.

per that graph, it looks like Obama has done a good job. stayed at a steady 66% while Bush was in office. It has slowly but steadily decreased since 2008.
This graph is the Labor Force Participation Rate. The percentage of people who are actually EMPLOYED in the work force. This shows that participation is the lowest in over 30 years.
This is not the unemployment numbers (also reported by the US Dept of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics Website) which by the way, does not include people looking for work.
