55-Plus Club-Mineral Ridge will meet at St. Mary Church at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. After the meeting and card games they will dine out.

AARP 4611 will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmelee Ave. The executive board will meet at 11 a.m. and the general meeting will be at noon. Take school supplies. July, August and September birthdays will be acknowledged. There will be a 50-50 raffle. New members welcome. In case of illness or death call 330-746-0889. Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. All members and spouses are welcome.

Coitsville Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Belleria Pizza and Italian Restaurant, 725 McCartney Road. Members can choose from the menu. President Jane Orlo will preside. September birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. There also will be a 50-50 drawing and card bingo. Steve Hrycik will be the caller. New members are welcome. Girard OldTimers will meet at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Lamancusa Restaurant.

Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eagles, 26 W. Wilson Ave. September birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. Plans for future meetings will be discussed. Bingo and cards will be played. Take a sack lunch and beverage.

Happy Wanderers will meet at Corner House Christian Church, at 11 a.m. for prayer followed with lunch at noon Friday. Elizabeth Booher and Lois Werner will talk about the Brookfield Historical Society. Hostesses are Mary Ellen Wohlgamuth, Phyllis Thomas, Florence Paddock, Betty and Frank Toman and Caroline Charles. Greeters will be Herb and Bobbi Grantz and Lillian and Ray Zedaker. Planning meetings will be Oct. 5 for tours and Oct. 12 for programs, both at 9:30 a.m. Notify in advance if you plan to attend. Departure is at 7:30 a.m. for the Senior Saints at Elkhorn Valley on Tuesday. Seats are still available on the American Bandstand Tour set for Oct. 15 and for the “George and Henry Save Christmas” at Dutch Village Inn Nov. 29. For information call 330-534-2759.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Holy Family Center’s Hope Hall. Use the Youth Center entrance. Cards, bingo and a 50-50 drawing will be featured, along with sandwiches, snacks, coffee and tea. Hostesses are Stella Mamachek, Ann Staklosa, Marie Phillips and Lora Opsitnik.

Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Sept. 23 for a luncheon at the Founders Hall. President Mary Calai will preside. A short meeting, money raffle, cards and bingo will follow. Hostesses are Rose Mary Cervone, Jane Martin, Mary Morley and Mary West. The luncheon costs $2. New members are welcome.

Liberty 55 Plus Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church, Cardinal Drive. Kay Herberger will preside. Hostesses will be Pat Schultz, Pat Vlock and Marge Wilster. There will be a 50-50 raffle and September birthdays will be acknowledged.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Ruby Farkas will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Public Employees Retirees Inc., Mahoning Chapter 18, will meet at noon Oct. 2 at Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road. Debbie Moss from Mahoning County Board of Health will give flu shots before the meeting if desired. Take insurance cards. Nominations for officers will be made from the floor. There also will be a money raffle. The menu consists of city chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetables, salad, coffee or tea and pumpkin squares for dessert. REAC 3298 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Davidson’s Restaurant with Melva Day and Mary Taylor serving as hostesses. There will be a 50-50 raffle.

St. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the parish center. Ruth Infante will preside, and Dorothy LoSasso and Carol McClain will give reports. Theresa Vivacqua and her committee will serve pizza. Free lunch will be given as the prize in a drawing, and a 50-50 raffle will take place. Cards and bingo will be played. New members are welcome.

Sunshine Seniors will meet at noon Tuesday at the Byzantine Center at the Grove. Betty Jean Fehrenbaugh will preside. For reservations or cancellations call Vera DeFuria at 330-792-6607 no later than Monday. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and there will be a 50-50 raffle.

USWA Local 2243 Copperweld Steel retirees, SOAR Chapter 1-28-10, will have its regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Local 1375 Union Hall, 684 North Park Ave., Warren. The guest speaker will be Bill Leiby, pharmacist.
