Romney: White House gave ‘mixed signals’
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says it’s never too early for America to condemn attacks on its sovereignty and says the White House gave “mixed signals” in its response to the breach of the American embassy in Egypt.
Romney today condemned attacks against the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four U.S. diplomats, including the U.S. ambassador.
Still, Romney stood by his sharp statement Tuesday night criticizing the Obama administration. Today, he said that statement from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was “akin to apology” and a “severe miscalculation.”

Romney is better than what we have now... We need to remove that big government liberal from office because he is sinking our country into a socialist abyss.
So Romney thinks the best way to help America in a bad situation is to make President Obama's job harder?
we need to punish stupid Americans who use their "Free Speech" right as an excuse to POff other people. Did they miss the memo that the Muslim Extremists are nutjobs? Why make things worse? People are now DEAD because of their youtube video!!
We also need to stop blaming Obama and pretending that Romney is a saint. Romney is a liar and he will destroy whats left of us.
@sumpintasay: You may be on to something about people dissing the Muslim "nutjobs." Such as Obama's killing of bin Laden being mentioned 21 times at fhe Democrats' Convention. (The "nutjobs" who smothered-to-death the U.S. ambassador were shouting "we're ALL Osamas, Obama!" -- but said nothing during the seige about a video.)
The Mitt-Flopper of all people is one to talk about giving mixed signals. He'll change his mind tomorrow depending upon which way the political winds are blowing. He's a poor excuse of a man.
