Home Savings Charitable Foundation presents checks Wednesday to nonprofits
YOUNGSTOWN — The Home Savings Charitable Foundation will present checks to two Mahoning Valley nonprofit organizations Wednesday.
At 1:30 p.m., the foundation will visit Neighborhood Ministries at the Kirwan Homes Community Center, 75 Jackson St., Campbell, to donate $2,000 that will be used to support programs and services to low-income families.
At 3 p.m., Home Savings will present a $5,000 check to Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley, 1601 Motor Inn Drive, Girard. JA will use the money for programs to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
With current assets of $2.1 billion, Home Savings operates 34 banking offices and six loan production offices throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania, employing about 600 people.
