Flags flown at half-staff as Ohioans mark Sept. 11

COLUMBUS (AP) — Flags will be flown at half-staff at Ohio’s public buildings and grounds to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Gov. John Kasich has ordered that the flags be flown at half-staff today from sunrise to sunset.

In Columbus, Mayor Michael Coleman planned to host a lunchtime remembrance ceremony with veterans at city hall to honor those who died in the attacks and the emergency responders.
