DNC chairwoman to visit Youngstown Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will come to Youngstown on Saturday to speak to local President Barack Obama campaign volunteers and supporters.

Schultz, who is also a four-term U.S. House member from southern Florida, will meet at 10 a.m. with volunteers and supporters at 25 W. Federal St., Obama’s downtown Youngstown campaign office.

After Schultz’s remarks, volunteers will go door-to-door in the Youngstown area campaigning for the re-election of Obama, the Democratic incumbent.

Schultz is likely to make at least one other appearance Saturday in the Mahoning Valley.

Additional details will be released later this week by the Obama campaign.
