Aug. 5

Drug abuse: Police charged Keylon Huff, 23, of 102 Euclid Blvd., Youngstown, with drug abuse of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and possession of dangerous drugs after his arrest in the city.

Unwanted calls: Unwanted, annoying phone calls were reported at Dairy Queen, 101 S. Broad Street, when the male called four times and asked for money.

Aug. 6

Warrant: Ziara Marshall, 22, of 427 Winchester Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a Youngstown warrant for failure to appear.

Aug. 7

Threats: A student threatened another student at the Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, 7300 Palmyra Road.

Aug. 9

Warrant: Donald Beck, 70, of 4982 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Trumbull County.

Aug. 11

Drug abuse: Gabriel Page, 25, of 4654 Englesson N.W., Warren, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana.

Aug. 12:

Sick skunk: A sick skunk was killed by police at a home in the 30 block of Skyline Avenue.

Aug. 15

Drug abuse: Thomas Bean, 22, of 269 N. Perry Highway, Mercer, Pa. was charged with drug abuse of marijuana.

Aug. 17

Drug paraphernalia: Thomas Pepe, 35 , of 308 Grant St., Niles was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 18

Drug abuse: Police charged Stephen Marsh, 26, of 7230 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, with drug abuse of marijuana after an arrest in the city.

Domestic violence: Police charged Kelly Connors, 46, of 175 Queens Lane, Canfield, with the crime.

Drug paraphernalia: Police charged John Taylor, 42, of 1190 W. Canfield Road, Columbiana, with trafficking drugs and drug paraphernalia, and Robert Youngblood, 29, of 309 Cabot St., Youngstown, with for drug abuse for possession of a vial of brown liquid, possible heroin, and drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, a syringe and a spoon, after their arrest in the city.

Aug. 19

Trafficking drugs, drug paraphernalia: Police charged Stephen Cannon, 18, of 4209 Selkirk Ave., Austintown, with for trafficking drugs after police found 26 bundles of marijuana in plastic bags and possession of drug paraphernalia after his arrest in the city.

Drug abuse instruments: Police charge Stephen Donahue, 35, of 758 Meanderbrook Ave., Warren, with possession of drug abuse instruments after his arrest in the city.

Aug. 20

Warrant: Police arrested Lucius Coleman, 19, of Streetsboro, on an active warrant out of Medina.

Drano bombs: Drano bombs were reportedly thrown into the front yard of a home on Timber Run.

Aug. 21

Drug paraphernalia: Police charged Samuel Porter, 20, of 592 Presidential Drive, Boardman, with drug paraphernalia for possession of a pipe with marijuana residue after his arrest in the city.

Aug. 22

Threats: A woman from the 500 block of Janet Drive reported threats and harassing text messages from an ex-boyfriend.

Aug. 24

Drug paraphernalia: Police charged George Weigand, 41, of Canton, with possession of drug paraphernalia, a glass pipe with marijuana residue, after his arrest in the city.
