Chief's ex-sister-in-law charged with assaulting ex-husband with car

A 43-year-old township woman is accused of ramming her car twice into another vehicle that contained her ex-husband, a township road department employee.

Patricia Goodin appeared Wednesday in Struthers Municipal Court to face two assault charges, according to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner.

Goodin reportedly tried to hit her former husband, Darren Goodin, whose brother is the township’s police chief, on Friday near her Shawbutte Street home.

No serious injuries were reported. The couple filed for divorce last year, according to court records.
