CINCINNATI (AP) — A grand jury has indicted two Ohio women on an aggravated murder charge in the killing of a woman found covered in burns and wailing in agony on the side of a rural road.
Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says that if convicted, Katrina Marie Culberson and Monica Jean Washington of Canton would be eligible for the death penalty.
Haddox tells The Associated Press today that in addition to the murder charge, the women were also were indicted on felony charges of kidnapping and aggravated arson.
The grand jury will consider whether to indict a third suspect next week.
Celeste Fronsman, 29, died last month two days after being found on a road in eastern Ohio. She had been raped and burned and had a strap around her neck.
