Thirteen high school football teams from the Mahoning Valley have qualified for the Ohio High School Athletic Association playoffs. Four of those teams will host first-round -- or regional quarterfinal -- games this weekend.
Unbeaten Brookfield (10-0), unbeaten Crestview (10-0), Warren JFK (9-1) and Niles (8-2) will begin their quests for state titles on their home fields in Week 11.
Brookfield, the top seed in Division IV, Region 13 will host eighth-seeded Ashtabula Edgewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Warren JFK hosts Youngstown Christian (6-3) the same night at Mollenkopf Stadium.
Niles hosts Hubbard (7-3) at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Bo Rein Memorial Stadium in a rematch of a Week 7 game between the All-American Conference, American Division rivals. Also at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Crestview hosts Sugarcreek Garaway.
