Mahoning County coroner IDs traffic victim

Published: Thu, October 11, 2012 @ 2:27 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County coroner has identified the man killed in a two-car accident Wednesday night as 62-year-old Ulysses May of Youngstown.

May was killed in a two-car accident at the intersection of East Florida and Homestead Avenue on the South Side at about 9 p.m. One car reportedly ran a stop sign hitting the other car. It is unclear what car May was in or if he was the driver.

Four other people involved in the accident, including a child, were taken to area hospitals in critical condition.

The coroner’s office said May’s death is being investigated as an accident.
