EAST PALESTINE

The East Palestine annual apple butter-making is scheduled for today through Saturday.

Volunteers are needed, especially today when the apples are prepared for cooking.

Take a pan or bowl, a paring knife and a cutting board to the pavillion on the hill in City Park at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided.

A few vendors and a small antique engine show are planned for Saturday at the Log Cabin on Bacon Avenue. Art Blower’s famous “Peanut Machine” will be featured.

Apple butter will be sold at $4 a pint on Saturday and Sunday. For information call 426-2393 or 330-426-2898.
