Six rehabilitation and senior-care facilities across the Mahoning Valley now are a part of Vista Care Centers, an entity owned and operated by Jadco, a Youngstown-based acquisition firm with experience in rehabilitation and long-term care.
Though most of the facilities already were owned by Jadco, the move allows operations to come under the management of Premiere Skilled Nursing Facility Services, also based in Youngstown.
Vickie Heller, corporate marketing director for Vista Care Centers, said that those who oversee day-to-day operations at each of the facilities largely will be unaffected by new management.
Heller said EDM Management of Boardman, which was running the facilities before the change, was replaced so that Premiere Skilled Nursing Facility Services could make “improvements and enhancements” to some of the programs in place at the six locations in addition to allowing Jadco closer oversight of operations.
Patients served by the facilities will not be affected by the announcement, Heller said.
The new Vista Care locations include Vista Center in Lisbon, Vista Center of Boardman, Victoria House in Austintown, The Ridge in Mineral Ridge, Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles and The Manor at Autumn Hills in Niles.
Closer oversight will come with Tracy D’Andrea, who is the chief operating officer of Premiere Skilled Nursing Facility Services. Her father, Jack Depizzo, is president of Jadco.
