YOUNGSTOWN — Exterior portions of yet another downtown building fell to the ground, leading the city to require the owner of the First National Tower to block off part of the entrance to the structure.
Mayor Charles Sammarone said he met today with Lou Frangos, owner of the building at 1 Central Federal St., about Frangos hiring a engineer to determine what happened. A report is expected by the end of the week, Sammarone said.
Part of the upper portion of the building fell Saturday, prompting someone to call the fire department, Sammarone said.
