St. Michael Scholarship Fund has scheduled its “A Decade of Donations” fall auction at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Family Life Center, 281 Glenview Drive, Canfield. St. Rose Church will sponsor a quarter auction from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Rosetta Hall, 48 E. Main St., Girard. Admission is $5 but all tickets must be purchased in advance. Bessemer Presbyterian Church, 29 N. Main St., will sponsor a fall flea market and bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. A bake sale also is planned; lunch will be available.


Friends of the Community Library of Shenango Valley will have a book sale in the library basement, 11 N. Sharpsville Ave., Sharon, Pa. Hours and dates are 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17; 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18; and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 19 and 20. All proceeds are donated to the library.
