YOUNGSTOWN

Three teens — two female and one male — were charged with disorderly conduct after city police were called to Summit Academy for a fight involving about 30 teens.

Police were called to assist off-duty sheriff deputies who were providing security at the school, 1400 Oakhill Ave., at 3:07 p.m. Friday.

A woman stated in front of police that her pregnant daughter started the fight, “but there’s more to this,” she said.

The teen was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center after police observed her being among individuals who were sprayed with pepper spray.

Teachers assisted officers.

The fight continued at Jordan’s Market at Market and Cleveland streets until police arrived.
