YOUNGSTOWN

The Northside Medical Center Bereavement Committee’s 25th Annual “Walk to Remember” will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday to mark October as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

The event will begin inside Medical Office Building A at Northside.

Families who have experienced the loss of a baby at any point during pregnancy, at birth, or in the first weeks of life are invited to participate in the memorial service.

In the United States, about 1 million pregnancies are lost annually due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, still birth or newborn death. National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month is set aside to recognize the loss of a baby through any of these conditions.
