YOUNGSTOWN
Republican Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey will make a campaign stop in Youngstown Tuesday in support of Mitt Romney.
The Romney-For-President campaign made the announcement today afternoon but said it had no other details as to time or location of the appearance.
Christie came to Ohio on April 16, raising money for Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel, a candidate for U.S. Senate, according to the web site NJ.com.
In March, Christie planned to attend a rally at Cleveland State University with Romney, but canceled due to inclement weather.
From Thursday through Saturday, Christie is participating in a campaign swing on behalf of various GOP candidates in Washington, Montana, North Dakota and Michigan.

Put a box of doughnuts at the border his fat azz will never make it here. What a dirtball.
Why do the Democrats always revert to name calling? Your candidate has no records of real accomplishments in his 3+ years in office. All you are left with is calling the opposition names.
NJ is a lot like OH. Camden, Trenton, half of Jersey City, Newark, Harrison, and Paterson are ghettos. Many areas in NJ are comparable to the South Side of Youngstown. Other areas are comparable to Boardman. Densities are high, and so is crime.
Accurate portrayal of Newark:

NJ is physically similar to Cuyahoga County, and philosophically similar to Mahoning County. He's coming here because we are most like them. Christie should take our apolitcal demolition and blight abatement strategy back to NJ. There's a large number of abandoned and blighted buildings in NJ, occupying lots that are far more economically valuable than the lots around here. Despite the controversies with city council, Youngstown is far better managed than Paterson.
Christie can really connect with people across all barriers , including those of party.
He & Newark's Democrat Mayor Cory Booker made a memorable self deprecatory Youtube video together . America needs less silo thinking & more co operating .
I'll wager gdog didn't make similar observations to the "large" crowd at last month's Obama Rally on Glenwood .
Sleazebag needs to stay in his garbage dump of a state.
Hide the cookies. Just another shill for Romney and Ryan's lies that they are for the middle class. And what's amazing is how many in the middle class think it's true. Just look at the Romney signs sitting in yards of homes that are at best $50,000 in value. Listen carefully folks. If you are not pulling down $250,000 a year, you aren't a republican. And they don't want you in their party. They just want your vote. Remember Kasich and SB5? They want you to forget.
@theotherside, you are an idiot.
Yeah, harley, that's an intelligent response.
It’s amazing to me that you dummies in Youngstown still vote for the liberal democrats. How’s that been working out for you? Why are all the conservative (red) states doing better than the (blue) liberal states. Can you say unions? Youngstown best days are gone. Wait up idiot’s time to make some changes
Only 12% of the country's work force is unionized so your response is that its those 1/10 that are causing ALL of our economic woes by making a decent wage and getting good benefits? My god imagine if union membership rose to 20% there will be mass revolution!!!!
