WARREN

The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County invites everyone to come and listen to spirited tales of days gone by, during the annual Ghost Walk next Friday, Oct. 13, 26 and 27.

The one-mile historical walking tour begins each night at 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave., NW. Guided tours will leave every 10 minutes from the church parking lot and will include nine stops where actors will portray the restless spirits of people who once lived in Trumbull County.

The last tour departs the church parking lot at 9 p.m.

The following are some of the highlights of the walk:

Veteran’s Park: a tale of one Warren man’s experiences while serving in the Civil War.

Kinsman House: the story of a famed local family’s efforts to help the Underground Railroad for fleeing slaves.

Women’s Park: a speech about the fight for women’s right to vote.

City Hall: the death of young ‘Bish’ Perkins.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.
