Hafli dance will feature Arab food and music

AUSTINTOWN

St. Mark Antiochian Orthodox Church, 3560 Logan Way, Liberty, will host its second annual Hafli dance Saturday at St. Ann’s Church Hall, corner of Kirk and Raccoon Roads in Austintown. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a cash bar.

The word hafli in Arabic roughly translates as “big party.” The event will feature a buffet with delicacies such as stuffed grape leaves, spanakopita, hummus and tabouli. Musical guest will be Tony Eid and his band. Tickets are $30. Tables of 10 are available. For reservations, call 330-307-6422. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
