Cruze the top-selling small car in U.S.
LORDSTOWN
The Chevrolet Cruze is the top selling small car in the United States for the month of September.
There were 25,787 of the Lordstown-built Cruze sold in September. Its nearest competitor was the Toyota Corolla at 23,036 and the Honda Civic third in compact car sales at 21,546. Sales from the Cruze only dropped by 188 from the sales record set in August.
“This is the best possible scenario for GM. The Cruze the top-selling small car and it was able to do it while offering less in incentives than its competitors,” said Kristen Andersson, senior analyst at TrueCar.com., an automotive information website.

Just got a Cruze in September and Love It!!! I have always support GM Lordstown and will continue supporting them. My dad worked there when it opened and my husband works there now. Keep the Cars Rolling at GM Lordstown!!!
Excellent News for the GM Cruze.
I am impressed! It is a very nice car. And so is the Malibu. About time ole GM got to producing quality cars...and so has Ford and Chrysler. This is good news for American workers, families and business. Let's not drop the ball.
THANK YOU PRESIDENT OBAMA!!
If it weren't for Obama, Lorstown would be closed.
@IslandMike
Do you actually believe you can perceive the outcomes of an alternate version of the future from a point in the past? Can you tell me if I would be retired now if I had started that small business I considered twenty years ago? No?
But you do know what would have happened to GM.
You're a person of subnormal intelligence.
