Second Chance Animal Rescue will sponsor its second annual basket auction Sunday at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road, Poland, will sponsor a bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. It will feature baked goods, arts and crafts, trash and treasure and a raffle. The kitchen will serve haluski, hot dogs and kraut dogs, sloppy joes, desserts and beverages.


Friends of the Hubbard Library will sponsor its annual mega book sale at Hubbard Public Library, 46 W. Liberty St. Hardbacks, paperbacks, DVD’s CD’s, puzzles and more will be sold. Preview night is planned from 5 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday with admission of $5 and Friends members free. The sale continues from 9 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Saturday, which is $2-a-bag day.


Infant Jesus of Prague Guild of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish is sponsoring a bingo and card party at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John the Baptist Church Hall, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell. Donation is $5. A light lunch will be served.

Sycamore Place, 31 Tremble Ave., Campbell, has planned a rummage sale fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Refreshments will be available, and clothes and accessories will be featured sale items. The sale pays for a Christmas party for the residents of the seniors’ building.


2012 Pink Ribbon Golf Classic committee is sponsoring a bus trip to Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh on Oct. 20. All proceeds from this trip will be given to the American Cancer Society. The bus will leave from Fab Limo on Connecticut Avenue in Austintown at 9 a.m. and will depart from the casino at 5 p.m. The cost is $30 per person and each player will be given $15 to play and a $5 food coupon.
