Speaker says industry threatens cemetery

LIBERTY

Nathan Queener, who completed a graduate thesis on Mount Hope Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery, Wardle Avenue and Liberty Road, will speak at a gathering at Kravitz Delicatessen, 3135 Belmont Ave., at 10 a.m. Oct. 20. The Ethnic Heritage Society is the sponsor.

Queener will explain how the historic cemetery is threatened by the expansion of the local energy industry.
