Youngstown woman arrested for theft from Boardman store

BOARDMAN — Police have arrested a woman for a robbery at the Five Below store on Boardman-Poland Road.

Quala S. Dates, 27, of East Philadelphia Street, Youngstownm was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Thursday by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force at an Indianola Avenue address on Youngstown's South Side.

She was taken to the Mahoning County jail.

Township police said the store was robbed Wednesday afternoon. Three women tried to steal merchandise. When the store manager attempted to follow them, one turned around, grabbed the manager by the hair and pulled her to the floor. The three women fled.
