GIRARD: A Winterfest Dance will be Dec. 5 at Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St. SE, for all high school aged special needs students in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.There is no cost but reservations must be made to each school by Nov. 30. Semi-formal attire is requested. No sweatpants, jeans, shorts, school uniforms or tennis shoes, unless medically necessary. Drop off between 4:30 and 5 p.m.; dinner from 5 to 6; dancing and crowning of Snow Prince and Princess from 6 to 8:30. No parents permitted between 5 and 8:15. There will be chaperones, security and student helpers.
