Tree lighting set for communities

FARRELL/GREENVILLE, PA.

The UPMC Horizon Greenville and Shenango Valley auxiliaries will usher in the holiday season with tree-lighting ceremonies.

The UPMC Horizon Greenville Auxiliary will host Memories in Lights at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 4 with the lighting of the tree in the Garden of Life, which faces North Main Street.

Refreshments and entertainment will follow in the hospital lobby.

Light sponsorships are $7 each.

Anyone who wishes to hang a personalized angel on the tree to honor or remember a loved one should plan to arrive at 5 p.m.

The lighting of the Remembrance Tree, hosted by the UPMC Horizon Shenango Valley Auxiliary, will take place at 2 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Shenango Valley campus cafeteria in Farrell.

For a $5 donation, a loved one may be honored or remembered by placing his or her name on the tree.
