The holiday season is here, bringing scores of television specials that air every year. But there are also some new ones. Here are five holiday specials that will debut in the next week or so:

v “Hitched for the Holidays” (8 p.m. tonight, Hallmark): Joey Lawrence and Emily Hampshire pose as a couple to get their pushy families off their backs.

v “Love at the Christmas Table” (7 p.m. and 11 p.m. today, Lifetime): A man and woman who grew up as good friends ponder taking their relationship to the next step.

v “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” (8 p.m. Wednesday, NBC): Trace Adkins, Mariah Carey, CeeLo Green and others help light up the big tree in the Big Apple.

v “SNL Christmas” (9 p.m. Wednesday, NBC): A collection of fan-favorite holiday sketches from “Saturday Night Live.”

v “The Christmas Consultant” (7 p.m. Dec. 2, Lifetime): A workaholic couple hires a consultant (David Hasselhoff) to help them get through the holidays.

“Downton Abbey Revisited” (8 p.m., PBS): Need a “Downton Abbey” fix? Angela Lansbury hosts “Downton Abbey Revisited,” a special that recaps the first two seasons of wildly popular period drama and previews the third, spiced by interviews with producers and actors.

“liz & dick” (9 p.m., lifetime): Lindsay Lohan is on TV and it’s not for a court appearance! Tonight, the tabloid queen stars as Elizabeth Taylor in “Liz & Dick,” a movie about Hollywood’s most famous — and troubled — couple. Grant Bowler plays Richard Burton.
