CANFIELD

Canfield cheerleaders Rose Betras and Jaclyn Willoughby will be in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

The Spirit of America Productions is managing more than 600 cheerleaders from around the country to lead and close the parade.

“This is so awesome to not only be in New York City, but to lead and close the parade is such a wonderful experience. I am so glad to have a Valley presence here,” Rose said.

“Rose and I are so jazzed to have the ability to meet with other cheerleaders around the United states, said Jaclyn. “We are so excited to be part of this experience. I hope everyone back home looks for us in the parade.”

Rose is a senior at Canfield High School and is a captain of the varsity basketball cheerleading squad. Jaclyn is a junior and cheers on the varsity squad for football.
