Break-in reported at South Side church

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are looking for the people responsible for breaking into the office of a South Side Church Sunday while services were in session.

The Reverend Kenneth Simon told police someone entered the church offices at New Bethel Baptist Church on Hillman Street during a 7:30 a.m. worship service. He said the individual entered a mail cabinet and stole numerous envelopes that had been placed there for the church treasurer. Some of the letters were found open and discarded on the floor.

Rev. Simon said the thieves also tried to enter several locked offices without success.

Tough times for these NON-PROFITS , people trying to take the profits.

Wouldnt surprise me if Armed Guards started guarding the Vaults.

That is just pitiful. Robbing a church. Not to mention well it's in service. Are people really that ugly and filthy to do something like that. What a society we live in.
