Students were barely recognizable during Stadium Drive Elementary School’s annual Halloween Parade Oct. 31.
Mini monsters, ninjas and ghosts filled the hallways of the school as students paraded for their families and friends. Parents cheered and took pictures as their children walked past with classmates. Pierre Khoury, whose son and daughter, Naji and Chloe, both participated in the parade, was excited to share such a special moment with his children.
“I think any opportunity you can share with your child is a meaningful experience for them. I remember as a child getting dressed up for Halloween and the excitement. I think as a parent it’s good to share in the excitement. I think children are very excited that their parents are here to see them and support them,” said Khoury.
Teachers also dressed up and kept their students laughing throughout the day. After the parade, children continued to celebrate with their friends during their room parties where they enjoyed treats and movies.
