Storm response

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Crisis Response Unit has been deployed to Lindenhurst, N.Y., in the wake of superstorm Sandy to work in one of the hardest hit areas on the south shore. The team has been able to clear debris and gut homes on one of the most heavily damaged streets in that city. Richard Schmidt, Crisis Response Unit, said Crisis Response International is dedicated to rebuilding those communities devastated by the storm.

Superstorm Sandy ravaged the East Coast two weeks ago, leaving neighborhoods in ruin and thousands without power or fuel.
