Shootout in downtown Warren leaves one man dead, another wounded

WARREN

City police are continuing to investigate a shooting on Elm Court Northeast in downtown Warren. about 10:30 a.m. today that left one man dead and one man injured.

Marco Dukes, 32, died this afternoon after being taken by helicopter to Cleveland Metro Hospital.

A releative at the scene said Dukes had lived on the east side of the city.

The second victim, Larry Smith, age unavailable, was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital by a bystander, neighbors reported.

Police said they have two suspects in custody in the shootings but no charges have been filed against them yet.
