Library to host awards ceremony

AUSTINTOWN

This year the Presidential Volunteer Service Award ceremony is at 11 a.m. Nov. 24 at Austintown Public Library.

The recipients include the Fred Perry family, for 20-plus years of helping children in the community; Mike Giffin, a lifetime volunteer with the American Cancer Society; and Jeanne Duffy, who dedicates her spare time in helping the elderly shop, pay bills and have what they need to survive the cold winters.
